Student Handbook
Dear Students:
We want to welcome you to a brand new academic year at MMIA, you are about to begin your life as an MMIA Student.
MMIA strives to provide an intellectually safe and supportive environment for all our students. Everyone plays a role towards keeping the environment always conducive, and this handbook describes the privileges and responsibilities that we grant to our students.You will also learn about MMIA’s services and resources available to support your academic growth with us.

Student Support Services
MMIA’S care for its students consists of its course coordinators and managers taking care of the following to ensure that their needs are taken care of:
- Counselling service
- Orientation of students
- Pastoral care and career guidance
- Smoking incidence and inquiry matters
- Implementation of Dress Code
- Organizing various activities for students
- Complaints from MMIA students
- Disciplinary issues concerning the students of MMIA
Students are welcome to talk to us about any problems they may have and we will attend to them expeditiously and in strict confidentiality. We are committed to make students' campus life as pleasant as possible through the various interactive activities and programmes throughout the year.

Private Education Act
Student Contract
MMIA follows the CPE’s Standard Student Contract. Students will be required to enter into the Standard Student Contract which is a legal document that ensures rights and conditions between the Student and MMIA and it covers the following requirements:
- Course details – including course title, pre-requisites, qualification awarded, course duration
- Full details of all fees – tuition and non-tuition fees, additional fees and deposit
- Participation in the Fee Protection Scheme
- Refund policies
- Dispute resolution
All Students must enter into the Student Contract.
Fee Protection Scheme
The Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) serves to protect students’ fees in the event the school is unable to continue operating due to insolvency, and/or regulatory closure. MMIA provides a Student Tuition Fee Insurance from Lonpac Insurance Bhd which is endorsed by CPE (www.cpe.gov.sg).
Medical Insurance
MMI provides a medical insurance from AXA Insurance which minimally provide an annual coverage limit of not less than S$20,000 per student, at least B2 ward in government and restructured hospitals and 24 hours coverage in Singapore and overseas (if student is involved in school-related activities) throughout the course duration.
Confidentiality
Student’s personal information and undertakes are solely for the purpose of completing course submission and will be keep in strict confidence.
